Why the TCF Tout Public?
The TCF Tout Public is a standardised and calibrated language level test. It positions candidates on one of the six levels of the scale defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
Intended audience: Students, professionals or anyone who wants a reliable assessment of their skills.
Validity: The certificate is valid for 2 years.
Conduct of the tests
Compulsory tests (1h25)
- Listening comprehension: MCQ of 29 questions (25 minutes)
- Mastery of language structures: MCQ 18 questions (15 minutes)
- Reading comprehension: MCQ of 29 questions (45 minutes)
Complementary tests (optional)
- Written expression: 3 exercises (60 minutes)
- Speaking: 3 tasks during a one-on-one interview (20 minutes)
