French language and gastronomy

A course designed to combine your passion for French language and gastronomy: learn French with Alliance Française’s teachers and learn to cook with a French chef

The 20 French lessons per week – 4 French lessons per day from Monday to Friday – are complemented by a gastronomy workshops and 1 wine or cheese tasting session per week.

During the general French course, you will be placed in a group at your level and will progress in your learning of French. Our pedagogy emphasises communication and interaction between learners. This way, you will become more fluent in French both in comprehension and in expression. Our teachers work on the 4 language skills to ensure a balanced level of French. Throughout your stay, you will learn to discover French culture thanks to the themes and subjects covered in class. 

Learn the secrets of cooking with a French chef who will share her tips and tricks with you. You can discover so much about French gastronomy and cooking through our cooking classes and wine tasting activities. 

One afternoon a week, you will take cooking classes (either private course or 2 persons) with our French chef. A great opportunity to discover all the vocabulary and expressions related to cooking. You will be cooking with our chef and learn recipes to reproduce with  your friends and family when you go back.

In addition, each week you can participate in a wine tasting or a French cheese tasting. Another opportunity to discover more about the French gastronomic heritage and the French language.
